The official Olaplex store is at olaplex.com. A clone is a fake store that copies Olaplex’s name, logo, product photos and prices. It is not run by Olaplex.
How to tell a fake Olaplex website
- Check the address. The real store is olaplex.com. Look at the whole address before you pay.
- Be careful with addresses that add a word to the brand name.
Many clones use a
.shopaddress, or add words like “official”, “store” or “outlet”. For example:olaplexstore[.]usandolaplexgift[.]lol. - Be wary of deals that look too good. A sudden "outlet" or "sale" store for a brand you know is a warning sign.
- Type the address yourself. Some clones have no brand name in the address at all. If an ad or a link took you to the store, go to olaplex.com directly instead.

If you bought from one
- Call your card issuer or bank. Tell them the store was fake and ask them to dispute the charge.
- Report the site. Our guide shows how to report a fake Shopify store.
- Tell Olaplex. Their customer service team can confirm which stores are real.
- Change your password if you used the same one to make an account on the fake site.
If you’re the brand
Run a free clone check to see clones of your store. It takes a minute and needs no account. Or add Recon to Shopify to keep watch and get help reporting each clone.
Recon finds who to report each clone to and writes the notices. You review them and send them. The host or registrar decides whether a site comes down.
